Why opt for a pasture raised turkey?
Pasture-raised turkeys are raised outdoors on our lush irrigated pastures. They are provided with a non-GMO feed ration as well. Turkeys are omnivorous by nature and enjoy eating bugs and worms in addition to the mixed vegetation. We always enjoy turning the birds into a fresh pasture and watching them chase down the grasshoppers! It quickly becomes a grasshopper death zone!
This all serves to make a very nutritious, flavorful turkey!
What to expect from our turkeys:
- No antibiotics ever!
- All-natural diet high in grass and bugs
- Supplemented with GMO-free feed
- From 6 weeks of age on, they live in portable shelters on our green pasture
- Harvested by hand on our farm
- Turkeys will be delivered frozen
