Chiricahua Pasture Raised Meats (CPR Meats) is a small, family-owned farm based in the high desert of Sulphur Springs Valley, Southeastern Arizona. Founded by Josh & Tara Koehn, CPR Meats is driven by one simple belief: that food should nourish both people and the land.
What began in 2004 as a 17-year-old’s passion for pastured poultry has grown into a full-scale regenerative operation offering grass-fed beef and lamb, pasture-raised pork and poultry, and farm-fresh eggs. In 2010, we adopted the name “Chiricahua Pasture Raised Meats” in honor of the mountain range that defines our landscape and our ethos.
Our animals live as they were meant to—on open pasture, moving daily, foraging green, growing forage. We rotate them frequently to improve soil health and biodiversity. Our poultry and hogs are supplemented with a non-GMO grain ration that we mill ourselves, using locally grown grains like sorghum, triticale, and oats.
Unlike conventional farms, we control nearly every step of the process—from raising and feeding, to butchering and packaging. Our beef and lamb are 100% grass-fed and grass-finished. We do not use mRNA vaccines, and all of our animals are raised without growth hormones or routine antibiotics.

Every bottle is filled on-site at the farm and delivered throughout Arizona. Their cows live on pasture and are never given hormones or exposed to homogenization or pasteurization. The result is nutrient-dense, enzyme-rich milk that supports gut health and strengthens families—without compromise.
In 2023, Desert Oasis partnered with Chiricahua Pasture-Raised Meats to bring this living, real milk to CPR’s loyal customer base via convenient pickup locations. Today, they focus almost exclusively on dairy—building a reputation as one of Arizona’s most trusted raw milk providers.
